| Every year…where does summer go so quickly?! We wait long for its arrival and it’s gone before we know it. Labor Day weekend is upon us and the fall weather will be here before we know it. Which can be the most beautiful season of all! We are featuring a mix of large and small office, restaurant and retail projects this month, representing the variety of projects our team performs. MD WISE, Indianapolis, IN- 52,000 Sq. Ft.MD Wise, Indiana’s largest nonprofit health care company, recently moved into 52,000 square feet at 2955 N. Meridian on the Northside of downtown Indy! Schott Design created their new space in a building where we’ve completed several large projects for Columbus, OH-based Capitol Equities.
ROSE & REMINGTON, Indianapolis, IN- 3,500 Sq. Ft.Rose & Remington, a women’s fashion retailer out of Cincinnati, has expanded into the Indianapolis market. Their first local store just opened in a 3,500 square foot space at Castleton Square Mall. Capitol worked with the Simon and Rose & Remington team to create the new boutique. Indianapolis-based Cripe designed the space. Greenwood Park Mall’s new Rose & Remington is finishing up and will open soon as well.
ENTERPRISE, Mooresville, IN- 2,000 Sq. Ft.Capitol Construction recently completed a tenant buildout for Enterprise in Mooresville, IN. The 2,000 square foot location includes a customer service area, offices, and a car wash/prep area in the back. Capitol oversaw the shoring and removal of the masonry for the new overhead door opening, the installation of a new concrete slab with drainage for the car wash area, and the buildout and finishes of the offices and customer service area. This is the first project that Capitol has completed with Enterprise Holdings.
BLACKWOOD BBQ, Schaumburg, IL- 2,396 Sq. FtCapitol’s Chicago team recently completed a tenant build-out of a new Blackwood BBQ in Schaumburg, IL. The 2,396 sq. ft. restaurant features beautiful, high-end finishes, as well as outside patio seating. MAI Architects of Claypool, IN designed the space. This is the second Blackwood BBQ in the Chicago area built by Capitol.
INDIANA WELLNESS COLLEGE, Indianapolis, IN- 8,500 Sq. Ft.Our tenant improvement team just completed an 8,500 square foot expansion at Meridian Plaza 1 for Indiana Wellness College. The state’s only nationally accredited massage-focused education center, Indiana Wellness College offers 12-month programs for those looking for massage, aesthetics and physical therapy training and was founded in 2010 by local husband/wife therapists. Schott Design worked with them to design the expansion, and the remodel was done while the school was open and utilizing part of the space. In addition, a new private entrance to the school was created on the building’s northwest side. |
