Good Day Sunshine!

Well, the sunshine during this warm July has allowed us to make some great progress on ground up projects that we look forward to featuring here in a few months! Our teammates working on interior projects love to escape that same heat, finishing work both around the country in malls and retail centers.

All of the projects featured below are collaborations with repeat clients or referrals, which is how our business has grown over the years. We pride ourselves on creating relationships that last, both with end-users as well as with construction managers, property managers and architects.

GABLES OF AVON, Avon, IN- 8,300 Sq. Ft.

The Gables of Avon is now open for business! Capitol built the 8,300 square foot retail building, and much of the Denny’s space, for Detroit-based developer Alrig USA on the corner of SR 36 & Gable Drive. Smoothie King will also soon be open, featuring a drive through. Our team demolished the former Jack-in-the-Box that occupied the site, just across the street from a free-standing Starbucks we built in 2018! Michigan-based Expressive Architecture designed the new building.

NOTHING BUNDT CAKES, Temple, TX- 2,200 Sq. Ft.

Capitol’s national team finished our third Nothing Bundt Cakes project in Temple, Texas at the end of June. If you haven’t tried these amazing treats, run to your nearest bakery! The brand is growing around the country and for good reason. This 2,200 square foot bakery was designed by Chicago-based Interplan.

VCA ANIMAL HOSPITAL, West Sacramento, CA- 4,100 Sq. Ft

Capitol completed our first renovation for VCA Animal Hospital in West Sacramento, CA! This was a 4,100 SF renovation of an existing stand alone building and we converted it to a VCA Animal Hospital. Indianapolis-based MD Architects designed the new space, and we are working on three more renovations that will be wrapping up this fall! The need for quality animal care is growing at rapid speeds.

VEIN CLINICS OF AMERICA, Eden Prairie, MN- 4,400 Sq. Ft.

Capitol’s Chicago team recently completed a tenant build-out for Vein Clinics of America in Eden Prairie, MN. The 4,400 sq. ft. ground floor space includes a reception area, treatment rooms and a break room. Archideas, Inc. of Chicago was the architect. Capitol was also just awarded a second Vein Clinics project in Cary, NC that is underway!

UNTUCKit, Oklahoma City, OK- 1,500 Sq. Ft.

Our travelling team completed our fifth store for Untuckit, which is now open at Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City, OK. The apparel store, offering fitted options for men and women, is 1,500 square feet and was designed by Shremshock Architecture. We have three more stores for Untuckit under construction around the country.
