As President and Founder, Jon oversees all operations at Capitol while also serving as an active project manager, taking excellent care of clients, and ensuring crews are scheduled to work each week. He values teamwork and customer service and prides himself on being responsive to both client and employee needs. His number one priority? Building strong bonds between the Capitol team and clients. Jon is passionate about creating a quality organization and delights in seeing his clients thrive in their new spaces. He believes outstanding service and strong communication are what bring clients back again and again. When he’s not at work, Jon enjoys running, spending time outdoors, and participating in local non-profit events.

Chuck leads Capitol’s national retail/ground-up construction department, superintendent staffing, contract reviews, interviews, and project-solving. As a US Marine Corps veteran, he’s equipped with strong leadership skills and a solid work ethic, always pushing Capitol to the next level. Chuck enjoys building relationships and helping clients reach their project goals. His number one priority is to create a satisfied client through a personable experience that results in repeat business. During his downtime, Chuck enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, golfing, and traveling.

Kevin oversees the workloads of project managers at Capitol, while also serving as a project manager himself for one of our largest and longest-standing clients, Starbucks. With humble beginnings working in the field, he gained practical knowledge and hands-on skills that he now uses to lead the team. During project inspections at job sites, Kevin answers questions, tackles challenges, and ensures quality. He takes serious pride in his work and aims to produce an excellent project at a fair price. He most enjoys building relationships with clients, and tackling challenges alongside them, while delivering an outstanding product. Outside of work, Kevin is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

Jermey works closely with the field team to manage the superintendents and manpower. Having started as a laborer in the field after college, Jermey worked his way up to Superintendent, Project Manager, and now Vice President. He is well known in the local Indianapolis property and construction management community and has proven his ability to carry out complicated projects with satisfied clients, having now been with Capitol for nearly 20 years. In his spare time, Jermey enjoys spending time at his lake cottage with his wife and two young boys.

Lauren plays a key role in client engagement, business development, and community outreach at Capitol Construction. She works closely with new and existing clients to ensure a strong experience throughout the project lifecycle while identifying new opportunities and strengthening the company’s presence in the industry and community.

With a background in business development and workplace consulting, Lauren brings experience in building strong client relationships and uncovering needs to deliver meaningful value. She takes a collaborative approach to each project, often serving as a bridge between project feasibility and client vision.

Outside the office, Lauren stays active in both her professional and local communities. She enjoys exploring the Indianapolis area, especially checking out new restaurants and concepts, particularly when she can say Capitol had a hand in building them. She serves on the board of the Westfield Chamber Young Professionals and is involved in several organizations within the commercial real estate industry.

Jeff manages operations at Capitol’s Chicago office where he works to positively motivate employees to improve their skill sets. He also meets with developers to help them qualify sites, create budgets, and provide value-engineering. He enjoys making his clients’ lives easier through robust communication and impeccable project management, and is passionate about seeing a project through from start to finish. Jeff believes clients choose Capitol for its unparalleled attention to detail and its ability to meet a client’s needs with outstanding customer service. When he’s not at work, he likes restoring classic cars, working on his farm, spending time with his wife, and volunteering with Catholic Charities.

Jaymes began his career at Capitol Construction as a laborer while attending culinary school—only to discover his true passion was building restaurants, not just working in them. Over the past 16 years, he has risen through the ranks, holding roles from Carpenter and Superintendent to Senior Project Manager, and now Vice President.

Based in Chicago, Jaymes specializes in restaurant and luxury retail construction, bringing a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of high-end environments. His project experience also includes medical facilities, office spaces, and the automotive sector, giving him a broad and adaptable skill set.

Jaymes is known for his hands-on leadership, commitment to quality, and ability to guide complex projects from start to finish. Outside of work, he enjoys motorcycle rides, collecting cars, cooking, spending time with his dogs, and exploring Chicago’s vast restaurant scene.

With more than 23 years at Capitol Construction, Ryan has built a career defined by progressive leadership, technical expertise, and an uncompromising attention to detail. He began as a Superintendent, overseeing on-site operations to ensure every project met Capitol’s rigorous standards for quality and safety. His performance and leadership earned him advancement to Senior Project Manager, where he delivered complex, high-profile projects across a range of industries.

Now serving as Vice President, Ryan specializes in building full-service restaurants and brings extensive experience in retail, medical, and automotive construction. He provides strategic oversight, mentors project teams, and continues to uphold Capitol Construction’s reputation for excellence and integrity.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys collecting and driving sports cars, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with his wife and four children.

With nearly a decade of experience in the commercial construction industry, Char brings a powerful blend of strategic vision and hands-on project expertise to her role as Director of Business Development. Her career spans nine years of driving business growth, fostering client relationships, and coordinating projects—experience that has given her deep insight into every stage of the construction process.

Before stepping into business development, Char served as an Assistant Project Manager, where she worked closely with field teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion. This dual perspective allows her to connect the dots between client goals and operational realities—making her a valued partner for both clients and colleagues. Char is known for her clear communication, proactive approach, and commitment to delivering results that consistently exceed expectations.

Since joining Capitol Construction in 2015, Jim has advanced through multiple roles, building expertise in project management, estimating, project delivery, leadership, and client relations. Today, he serves as Vice President, while continuing to manage projects hands-on.

With more than 23 years in the construction industry and a degree in Construction Management, Jim’s experience spans all sectors, with a a strong niche in ground-up and site development projects. Known for his grit, endurance, and resilience, he leads teams to excel on complex projects nationwide, and clients and colleagues alike value Jim’s direct, transparent style and his “get it done” approach—qualities that help deliver successful projects and lasting partnerships.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys time with his family, fishing, exploring new coffee spots, staying active, and vacationing anywhere with an ocean view.

Brian manages the daily operations and personnel at Capitol’s Franklin, Tennessee office, walking with clients from project inception through completion. Starting as a laborer then moving into a foreman’s role, he developed hands-on experience and leadership skills which have helped him excel in design-build projects. He most enjoys cultivating strong relationships with satisfied clients, delivering a quality-built product, and seeing businesses excel in their new spaces. Outside of work, Brian enjoys tinkering in his shop, restoring vintage cars, and spending time with his wife, grown adult sons, and six grandchildren.
