A BIT OF HOO-HOO-HOOSIER HYSTERIA

In other big news, Taylor Swift is wrapping her U.S. Eras tour with 3 sold-out shows at Indy’s Lucas Oil Stadium this weekend, bringing a huge economic impact to our City, as well as sold out hotel rooms in a 9-county region. The JW Marriott is boasting a graphic of Taylor spanning nearly the hotel’s height.  Even the dinosaurs outside of the world-famous Indianapolis Children’s Museum are sporting friendship bracelets! Not unlike the hosting the Super Bowl in 2012, Indy is “Ready for It”!

Halloween brings our much-anticipated chili and dessert cookoff, as well as mandatory costuming, for a day of fun, food and laughs.  We are showcasing a month of beautiful projects wrapping up, and we plan to buckle down and hold on tight as we head into the last two months of 2024!

DAVID YURMAN- Indianapolis, IN- 3,000 Sq. Ft.

We have been fortunate to have an ongoing relationship with mall developer Simon, and our team continues to pull off high-end projects in their Fashion Mall at Keystone Crossing. Indiana’s first David Yurman retail store is now open in the former Michael Kors space, offering a large variety of jewelry options that you might not find in other jewelry stores.  No detail was overlooked by the design team at O’Neil Langan Architects, and we are proud to have delivered this project on time, just before the holiday season kicks off.

J. ALEXANDER’S- Naples, FL – 7,600 Sq. Ft.

Our friends down South have been through a lot in recent months, having braced themselves for not one, but two hurricanes within a month’s time. Our Chicago team completed a transformative project this year in Naples. With the help of MN-based Shea Design, we converted a former Buca di Beppo along the well-traveled US41 corridor into the  contemporary American fare of J. Alexander’s. The 7,600 square foot restaurant boasts an extensive wine list, as well as options for all dining preferences. Our Indy team is working again with Shea Design on the new 1933 Lounge in Carmel, IN that’s under construction- a highly anticipated arrival to the community in 2025!

AUDI INDIANAPOLIS- Indianapolis, IN – 14,000 Sq. Ft.

Over the years, our team has proven our expertise in facilitating a variety of projects at auto dealerships. From ground-up, to expansions and remodels, we have done it all. We just wrapped up a 14,000 square foot service department expansion at Audi Indianapolis along the 96th & Keystone corridor on Indy’s Northside. With the demands increasing for quality auto service, the expansion was needed, and construction took place while keeping the existing service department operating. Balay Architects designed the addition, which was our 4th project with the Tom Wood Group.

PROGRESSIVE- Carmel, IN- 25,000 Sq. Ft.

It was our pleasure to help repeat client, Progressive, remodel nearly 25,000 square feet to expand their Carmel, IN office. The insurance carrier continues to grow in the 111 Congressional building, and we have another project about to start with them as well. Carmel-based Mitsch Design worked with both teams to provide design guidance.

STARBUCKS- Greenfield, IN- 2,600 Sq. Ft.

Did your co-worker inadvertently take your favorite afternoon beverage from the break room fridge?! It’s ok…head over to the newest Starbucks that opened this month in Hancock County’s City of Greenfield on State Street & Green Meadows and try one of their new energy drinks or fall specials! We just wrapped up the 2,600 square foot cafe, our third in Hancock County this year. Cleveland-based Onyx Creative designed the space.

Fun Fact: Since 2014, our team has completed 156 new cafe buildouts and 125 renovations for Starbucks across 15 states!!

MOCHINUT- Indianapolis, IN- 1,300 Sq. Ft.

Our third project for the local Mochinut franchisees opened this week on Indy’s southside, our second project in the new retail development, Claybrooke Commons. The 1,300 square foot specialty retailer not only offers rice flour donuts, but hot dogs, and bubble tea. Indy-based Lehner Designs worked with the Mochinut team to get their new location ready to go. The Southside is ready for this sweet treat!

CALIBER COLLISION- Elgin, IL- 19,375 Sq. Ft.

Our Chicago team continues to build projects for Caliber Collision, who continues to grow around the country. Their latest buildout is now open in the suburb of Elgin, IL, and was just under 20,000 SF. TX-based Cross Architects designed the shop space.

PROJECT UPDATES

We are now more than halfway complete on the new Unlimited Motors auto dealership in the City of Westfield, IN. Some serious progress has been made on the 40,000 SF building and service center, where the Elhaj family is preparing for a Spring ’25 opening!

Another Diamonds Direct is now vertical in the Ft. Worth, TX market. It is their first. We are so grateful for a continued relationship with this client.

Wawa convenience stores are entering the Indiana market with a vengeance. We are under contract for three locations, and our first is underway in Noblesville, IN.
