Our team has had a busy month attending several events for our non-profit clients, the shopping center convention in Chicago, and co-hosting our annual Ladies Wine Night for our property management clients. We also welcomed a new Business Development Associate, Nora O’Leary, to our Chicago office. Our Indy office has added two new Assistant PM’s, a new Controller, and has promoted tenured associate Emily Campbell to Office Manager.
While we are amazed that Q3 is upon us, it is off to a strong start. We are even getting a few big projects out of the ground before the winter weather is upon us. Midtown Carmel is bustling with dynamic new businesses – one of which is wealth management firms like Aaron Wealth Advisors. The Aaron team opened a new 2,500 square foot office, their third location, in a new building designed by Studio M Architecture and Planning. Aaron Wealth is an independent advisory firm that delivers tailored planning, comprehensive investment solutions and highly personalized service to a select number of influential and affluent families – their new Carmel office environment reflects their exclusive boutique approach.
STARBUCKS- Oakley, OH- 2,200 Sq. Ft.
It never gets boring to showcase new Starbucks that we have the privilege to work on… especially on a chilly fall day! Our team just wrapped up a new store that is now open in the Cincinnati suburb of Oakley, OH, as well as one in Lexington, KY. Both cafes are 2,200 SF and were designed by OH-based WD Partners. This coffee mainstay sure has kept our team busy this year!
M&J WILKOW MARKETING OFFICE- Fishers, IN- 2,200 Sq. Ft.
While this building was previously home to one tenant, our client, M&J Wilkow bought the Class A 350,000 RSF “Navient building” in Fishers last year and has engaged our team to work on many reno projects throughout the renamed Link at Fishers District. Indy-based Schott Design engaged with the Landlord to create the 2,200 SF Marketing Center, which will be used by the leasing and management teams to showcase the potential for new space in the updated building- The Link to dining, entertainment and amenities in a hot area of Fishers. The new and improved Burn Boot Camp – Fishers is also under construction in The Link!
MAURICES- Topeka, KS- 5,700 Sq. Ft.
Our national team is so glad to be back in the groove with women’s and girl’s fashions, having built a new Maurices store in Topeka’s West Ridge Plaza. The retailer relocated from a nearby mall to take over a vacated 5,700 square foot space, ideal for quicker shopping trips. We have done numerous projects around the country for Maurices over the past 10 years. This store was designed by CO-based Lewis Himes.
FARE & BLACKWOOD BBQ- Chicago, IL- 1,300 Sq. Ft./space
Working within a hospital can bring on some different challenges, but the rewards of bringing new culinary options to healthcare workers onsite are worth it! Our Chicago team recently completed a FARE and adjacent Blackwood BBQ in downtown’s Northwestern Memorial. Each restaurant, both repeat clients, is 1,300 SF and was designed by Curioso. They are now open for business and serving workers and hospital guests.
