Capitol does a lot of work in the food service sector, but always enjoy working on restaurants newer to their markets. We also enjoy doing work for repeat clients, two of which we are featuring this month on the office front. The holidays will be upon us before we know it, and we see no signs of things slowing down until they are! More photos of each project are featured on our Facebook page. If we can help your business, please contact Lauren Kriner at 317.574.5488 or lkriner@capitolconstruct.com.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop- Carmel, IN: 2,200 SF
Potbelly Sandwich Shop made a much-anticipated entrance into the Carmel trade area this summer, joining Starbucks and some other new tenants in The Bridges, anchored by Market District. The popular Chicago-based sandwich shop is known for its fresh meats and cheeses, delicious desserts and inviting atmospheres, complete with live music. While we have built several restaurants for Potbelly in Chicagoland, this was our first in the local market. GPD Group of Akron, OH designed the new 2,200 square foot shop that offers dine-in, delivery, or catering.
Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary- Indianapolis, IN: 38,000 SF
Our tenant finish group has been doing a lot of work for Zeller Realty’s Market Tower in downtown Indianapolis. The Class A office building recently expanded and remodeled transportation law firm, Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary to the 14th and 15th floors. Capitol worked with Schott Design on the beautiful interior changes, including the design-build of an internal grand staircase.
Tom Wood Volkswagon- Noblesville, IN: 38,000 SF
Capitol Construction completed our second project for the Tom Wood Auto Group this spring, adding another Volkswagon dealership to the group’s portfolio. The new dealership sits on the Northeast corner of the busy State Road 37 & 146th Street in Noblesville. The facility was designed by local Balay Architects and is 38,000 square feet of clean lines, modern finishes, and significant natural light. In addition to an increased offering of vehicles, the dealership has a full service center. Capitol is currently remodeling the Tom Wood Lexus dealership on 96th Street in Indianapolis, which is open during construction.
Red Robin- Slidell, LA: 4,500 SF
Capitol Construction has been helping Red Robin with the national re-brand of their restaurants. We have completed three remodels, including interior and exterior work, and our fourth project is currently underway in Texas. The restaurants range from 4,500-7,000 square feet and have modern new finishes. Denver-based Cahen Architectrual Group is designing the remodeled Red Robin’s.
Starbucks- Broad Ripple, IN: 1,900 SF
As one of Starbucks preferred contractors in the Midwest, Capitol has a full team dedicated to remodeling many of the coffee shops, in addition to building new locations. The oldest Starbucks in the City shut down for a few weeks and reopened last Saturday for business. At the corner of Broad Ripple Avenue and Guilford, the remodeled Starbucks in the heart of Broad Ripple Village offers increased seating, a more open atmosphere and cozy finishes. Interbrand Design Forum out of Dayton re-designed this location.
