Summer is coming quickly to a close, as kids are starting back to school and we’re
getting a preview of cooler fall temperatures in Indiana. Our tenant improvement
team is gearing up for some large single tenant buildouts, as well as continued capital
improvement projects around town. Our ground-up team is taking advantage of the
longer days and nice weather before exterior construction becomes challenging. And
our national team is staying busy with repeat clients from coast-to-coast.
August also brings some fun upcoming events that our team will be participating in: the
BOMA Indy golf outing tomorrow, our annual company picnic Saturday at the Clark
property, and the IN/OH/WV ICSC convention in Columbus, OH next week!
we are highlighting a few repeat and new clients below- additional projects photos
can be viewed on our facebook page. As always, if you’re interested in talking with
our team about a potential project or partnership, please contact Lauren Kriner at

STARBUCKS, Carmel, IN – 2,650 Sq. Ft
Capitol recently completed the interior buildout of a large new Starbucks relocating to Meridian &
Main in Carmel. The now-open coffee shop features a new design, high ceilings, dual-sided
fireplace, plenty of interior seating, as well as a huge outdoor patio area. This location offers quick
access off US 31, as well as dedicated Starbucks parking spots just outside the main entrance.
Cincinnati-based Interbrand Design Forum created the new feel of this Carmel Starbucks.
FIVE BELOW, Salem, NH – 8,500 Sq. Ft.
Our national team finished up a turn-key Five Below for developer ShopCore Properties in Salem, NH
this month. This was our fifth buildout for Five Below on behalf of different landlords around the
country, as the active discount retailer continues to grow rapidly. The 8,500 square foot Salem store
was designed by Create Architecture and Sargenti Architects and opened in early August, just in time for back-to-school shopping.
EAT THAI, Indianapolis, IN – 1,865 Sq. Ft.
We have always enjoyed working in Kite Realty Group’s centers around town, this time bringing
Jasmine Thai’s sister restaurant, their new fast-casual Eat Thai concept, to the popular northwest side of Indianapolis’ Traders Point shopping center. Eat Thai is an 1,865 square foot restaurant, offering savory Thai favorites in a quicker dining experience and a fresh, unique environment, designed by local Rottmann Collier Architects. Order at the counter and grab a seat- they’ll serve it up quick and hot, and they even offer apple pay!
