CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF MARCH MADNESS

March is bringing plenty of energy to Indianapolis as we gear up to host the Final Four this weekend- the temps are increasing and the city buzzing in anticipation. While some of us are disappointed that the Boilermakers didn’t quite make it back “home”, we will be rooting for Indiana’s “Mr. Basketball”, freshman Braylon Mullins, as he is a star for UConn. Our team enjoyed partaking in the annual Beefsteak March Madness traditions at Huse Culinary locations this month as well.It’s also Women in Construction Month—an opportunity for us to recognize the talented women on our team who are helping move our projects forward every day. Their dedication and leadership continue to make a lasting impact. Thank you, ladies!

On top of that, we’re proud to share that Capitol Construction has been named 19th on the Indiana Business Journal’s list of Largest Contractors. It’s a reflection of the hard work of our entire team and the strong partnerships we’re fortunate to be part of.

Lastly, it was a privilege to be awarded Starbucks first General Contractor of the Year Award for the Mid-South Region. In addition, our associate Cory Trott was named Superintendent of the Year! Starbucks has been a longtime client, and it is an honor to be recognized for our commitment to this relationship. Congrats to our Cory and our Starbucks team!

DELTA FAUCET- Carmel, IN- 5,000 Sq. Ft.

Tenant Improvement

Our team has completed many projects within the walls of the Delta Faucet HQ over the years in our neighboring City of Carmel, Indiana! In conjunction with direction from Mitsch Design, we recently remodeled nearly 5,000 square feet of the executive offices. These fresh finishes and updated spaces reflect the cutting edge technology that the products of Delta offer!

JUST SALAD- Glenview, IL – 1,700 Sq. Ft.

Restaurant

Need to counteract some of this month’s celebrations with some healthy food?! Consider checking out our client Just Salad at their newest location in Glenview, IL. The growing brand offers salads, plates, wraps and smoothies, with homemade dressings and the freshest ingredients. The 1,700 SF restaurant is now open, and the space was designed by NORR. It was the second Just Salad built by our Chicago team.

BIBIBOP ASIAN GRILL- South Bend, – 2,100 Sq. Ft.

Our team completed a sixth buildout for the fast-casual concept of BIBIBOP Asian Grill in South Bend at Eddy St. Commons. The 2,400 square foot restaurant opened late last week in the mixed-use Kite Realty center across from Notre Dame’s campus. The space, designed by Finn Daniels Architects, makes for a great addition to the diverse tenant mix that Eddy Street visitors seek.

We were also just awarded their upcoming location in Westfield, IN. That will begin construction this spring!
