JUNE, 2024

Our team is settling into summer, although we felt like we missed spring somewhere with the high temps we have had this month! While we would enjoy a cool down in weather, we are enjoying the heat of projects that have continued to steadily enter our pipeline.

We have had several exciting projects come out of the ground, and others have gone vertical this month.  Although it may seem like cold temps are far off, we are half-way through the year this week and need to make haste before winter conditions creep in.

Our hometown of Indy experienced a phenomenon this month… Lucas Oil Stadium, where our NFL Colts play, was reconfigured to hold a 50M competition pool and 25M warm-up pool. The 2024 Paris Olympics swimming trials were held in our City, and we rose to the occasion in hospitality as we always do, welcoming athletes and fans from around the country and witnessing history!  It was truly an amazing experience and one we are proud of.

As we embark on next week’s holiday, may everyone stay safe, have fun, and remember how fortunate we are to live in the “Home of the Free”!

PENN & BEECH- Fishers, IN- 1,200 Sq. Ft.

There’s a sweet smell making its way around downtown Fishers, and it’s not food! The new Penn & Beech studio is now open on the evolving 116th corridor. Patrons can drop in or make reservations to create their own special scent with a custom candle, or pick up a pre-poured scent for a quick gift. We have enjoyed working with local entrepreneurs, the Doles family, in building out 5 of their locations in IN and OH. Indy-based Schott Design has helped make each studio unique. Next up is a relocation of their downtown Indy studio.

ACTION BEHAVIOR CENTER- Romeoville, IL – 8,300 Sq. Ft.

Our Chicago team just wrapped up their 11th project with growing autism therapy provider Action Behavior Centers. This 8,300 square foot school in the suburb of Romeoville, IL also includes a training facility for ABC instructors. While traditional schools are closed for the summer, those providing support for children with autism are always working. Warren Johnson Architects provided the design for this project, and our team has three more under construction. We love repeat clients that we can grow with!

LPL FINANCIAL- Franklin, TN- 4,400 Sq. Ft.

Just because you might not “see” our Nashville team out and about, it’s likely because they have been busy finishing office projects within Class A spaces around their market. They recently completed a new 4,400 SF office for LPL Financial in Highwoods Properties Cool Springs IV building in Franklin. National firm, OTJ Architects, designed the space for the multi-location financial services group.

ALLOY PERSONAL TRAINING- Cincinnati, OH- 1,800 Sq. Ft.

We work with construction managers around the country as they help brands grow in new locations. Our latest project with past client, REP’M, was an Alloy Personal Training franchise in the Cincinnati market.  The 1,800 square foot studio offers customized programs for clients and was designed by SC-based GP|N.

STARBUCKS- Indianapolis, IN- 2,200 Sq. Ft.

Next Monday Indy’s southside will have another new Starbucks open for a drive-thru, pick-up, or cafe option! The 2,200 SF coffee shop is at the busy intersection of Southport Road & Franklin, in the Kroger outlot. WD Partners designed the project, that our team wrapped up this month. Our internal Starbucks team is consistently juggling both new stores and remodels around the Midwest.
