June News

One Day at a Time

June, 2020

There is a lot of discouraging news out there.  Between the pandemic and violence around the country, it can be hard to stay positive at times.  So, we’re taking it one day at a time.  We are trying to be flexible and pivoting with our clients, keeping their best interests at the forefront.  We are encouraged by the activity that our local restaurants and retailers have experienced by providing a safe environment for guests to return as they’ve reopened.  We are also grateful to see some new projects hit the “play” button again, with concepts eager still open in 2020!

We are celebrating the retirement of two of our associates this month.  Leo Vandivier was a superintendent with our team for 15 years.  He spent most of his career working in Class A office buildings in downtown Indianapolis.  Fun fact- his son-in-law, Jermey Coy, is also a long-time associate with Capitol and is a Project Manager.  Also retiring is Sr. Project Manager, Greg Miller.  Greg’s been with our team for 5 years and is going to be spending more time with his family and in the Sunshine State.  Greg’s son, Brady, is a Senior Project Manager with our team, and his daughter Ellen has worked with us over the years as well. Wishing them both the best in their downtime and our gratitude for their commitment to Capitol and our clients over the years!

Additional photos of this month’s featured projects can be viewed on our facebook page. As always, if you’re interested in talking further about our work or a potential project, please contact Lauren Kriner!  Please continue to stay safe and healthy- We look forward to seeing more of you in person very soon!
