SUMMER SHOULD GET A SPEEDING TICKET!

Although it feels like we say this all of the time, wow, summer sure went fast. Some kids are already going back to school this week! All of our teams have had some fun this month, taking time out of busy schedules to relax a bit and enjoy each other’s company. This time of year is also ripe with golf outings, often supporting the causes so dear to the hearts of our clients.

Our projects seem to be firing on all cylinders, steadily progressing with less rain, and planning to get ahead of winter conditions that will be here before we know it. We have had some beautiful projects wrap up this month, both with new and repeat clients that we are proud to call ours. And while we tend to get compliments on how nice our projects look, we always call attention to our design partners, as they are the ones working with the clients to set the creative vision that we carry out.

CHEGAR FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY- Carmel, IN- 7,500 Sq. Ft.

Nearly 2.5 years ago, we received a referral to potentially partner with Dr. Burke Chegar and his team to build his business’ dream on the perfect piece of land in Carmel, IN. Fast forward… Chegar Facial Plastic Surgery is operating out their new 7,500 square foot state-of-the-art building at 735 W. Carmel Drive, designed by Luminaut, with every detail accounted for. From skin treatments to a number of surgical procedures, Dr. Chegar’s team offers the highest levels of service, creating a first-class experience for patients. There is still space available in their building for a co-tenant, with an opportunity to have a Class A office in a Carmel location that can’t be beat.

VUORI- Indianapolis, IN – 3,400 Sq. Ft.

A local showstopper that our Chicago team hit out of the park…Vuori is officially open in Indy, with a beautiful new 3,400 SF store under the skylights of The Fashion Mall at Keystone! The athletic community is thrilled to have a brick and mortar way to experience this amazing, comfortable and quality brand. NY-based Heitler Houstoun Architects designed the cheerful spot, taking advantage of the natural light coming into the space. In addition to the Indianapolis store, we also completed a Vuori location at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont this month. Up next for our team is a new Vuori in Franklin, TN, the second in the Nashville market.

HIS PLACE EATERY- Indianapolis, IN- 4,000 Sq. Ft.

We love a success story of local restauranteurs and culinary experts expanding their concept to new locations! Chef James “Mackie” Jones and his wife Shawn have fine tuned the details of their second restaurant, His Place Eatery on Indy’s NW side, where it opened earlier this month. The 4,000 square foot endcap in the well-traveled intersection of 86th & Ditch, offers a plethora of seating for dining in, or the ability to take the famous soul food & BBQ on the go. MTM Architecture worked with the Jones’ to create a fresh look for their second spot.

STARBUCKS- Simpsonville, KY- 3,800 Sq. Ft.

While it may look like all of the Starbucks projects we build are created equal, they are not! This new cafe in Simpsonville, KY was converted from a former Zaxby’s, creating a larger footprint than usual for store locations. The nearly 3,800 square foot cafe features a community room with natural light, as well as an employee breakroom- amenities rarely available at the popular coffee brand. Nashville-based MJM Architects designed this location that was built by our team over 17 weeks and opened in June. We also broke ground on a new Starbucks at Indy’s Glendale Town Center for Kite Realty Group this month.

DIAMONDS DIRECT- Atlanta, GA- 6,500 Sq. Ft.

One of the hottest retail streets in Atlanta just got hotter this month! Our team completed another gallery for repeat client Diamonds Direct in the mecca of Buckhead, converting a former jewelry store to a 6,500 square foot Diamonds with a full gut-job and exterior modifications. Atlanta-based Phillips Partnership designed the new gallery that is now open to those shopping for the perfect piece.

THE LINK MARKETING OFFICE- Fishers, IN- 6,500 Sq. Ft.

Our team has been doing A LOT of work with the new (can we still call them that?) ownership of The Link at Fishers District over the past year! The remodeled office buildings that used to be fully occupied by Navient have gained new life in the form of new tenants, lobby upgrades, and an upcoming amenities center. Not to mention their proximity to new housing, restaurants, trails and the under-construction Fishers Event Center. We just completed a new marketing office for the M&J Wilkow team, as the previous one we built got leased prior to their move-in. While it’s a good problem to have, they are hoping their new office, created by Schott Design, will last them a little longer!
