January News

We hope that you all had a great holiday season and your new year is off to a prosperous start!  Hard to believe that February is right around the corner.  There is no sign of construction activity slowing down. We are gearing up to kick-off several ground-up projects around the country as the weather improves, but have still finished up several ground-up projects over the last month.  Our interiors division continues with steady work as well.

Our Capitol family mourns the sudden losses of two associates’ immediate family members this month- our thoughts are with their families.  We are reminded how precious and fleeting life is.

Additional projects photos can be viewed on our facebook page.  If you’re interested in talking with our us about a potential project or partnership, please contact Lauren Kriner at lkriner@capitolconstruct.com or 317.574.5488.

RED ROBIN, Pasadena, TX – 5,670 Sq. Ft.

Our national team completed their sixth ground-up building for Red Robin in Pasadena, TX, which opened earlier this month.  This Red Robin was part of a multi-site development with other restaurant chains, that began construction in the summer of ’17.  While schedules were slightly delayed due to excessive waters from Hurricane Harvey, our team remobilized to finish the new restaurant with minimal impact to the store’s timing.  Colorado-based Cahen Architectural Group designed this beautiful new Red Robin!

PANERA BREAD, Richfield, MN – 5,000 Sq. Ft

We have enjoyed watching the growth that our client Panera Bread has been experiencing around the country!  Both our Indianapolis & Chicago offices have been completing interior and ground-up projects for the fast-casual brand around the country, totaling more than 30 projects to-date!  The latest Panera was completed by our Chicago team, a 5,000-square foot ground-up with drive-thru, designed by Answers, Inc. of St. Louis.  The cafe includes the “Rapid Service Pick-Up”, as well as quick-order kiosks.

BATTERIES + BULBS, Carmel, IN- 1,900 Sq. Ft.

After twenty years in a long-standing location in a gas station space down the street, Batteries + Bulbs just relocated and upgraded to a larger store in Kite Realty’s Rangeline Crossing!  In addition to their traditional offerings of batteries and lightbulbs of all sizes, the retailer now repairs phones, tablets, computers and headphones.  Noblesville, IN-based Peterson Architecture provided design services for the new store.

ATI PHYSICAL THERAPY, Omaha, NE – 3,000 Sq. Ft.

Capitol’s national/ground-up team completed a ground-up facility for an ATI Physical Therapy developer over the winter months in Omaha, NE.  The new, 3,000 square-foot building will soon welcome therapists and clients, as ATI continues to grow their brand around the country.
