We’re in Bonus Time!

We are in bonus time because it’s Leap Year and we’ve had near record temps in the Midwest in February.  It gives us spring fever and the hope that we can play catch up on some outdoor work that’s experienced both heavy snow and rain this month.

We have attended several real estate recaps and forecasts already this year.  While some seem to think the theme is “survive until ’25”, others are saying, “thrive in ’24”.  Our year is off to a robust start, and we’re seeing several clients move ahead with plans that they had put on pause. So our prediction and hope for the rest of the year is THRIVE!

DELLEN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM- Greenfield, IN- 38,000 Sq. Ft.

The new Dellen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Greenfield, IN is now operating for both sales and service! It was a privilege to work with the Dellen team and Balay Architects to build the nearly 38,000 square foot state-of-the-art sales and service facility, adjacent to the former dealership that will soon undergo demolition and become an extended lot for visitors and inventory. Our team completed all of the site work, including the addition of a huge retention pond. Stop out to visit the Dellen team for new or used options from their umbrella of brands!

STARBUCKS- Anderson, IN- 2,200 Sq. Ft.

Not only do travelers along I-69 have another convenient Starbucks option, but so will those shopping or commuting along the busy Scatterfield Road thoroughfare. We built this cafe for a local developer, and the new building with drive-thru was designed by local Architect, Dauss. The brand’s fans were able to get their favorite drinks when the cafe opened this week!

MIEBACH- Fishers, IN- 7,300 Sq. Ft.

It was a privilege to be involved in the ribbon cutting of international supply chain consulting firm Miebach’s new office in our hometown of Fishers.  The local Miebach team made the big decision last year to relocate from downtown Indy to the growing suburb, just a stone’s throw from The Yard at Fishers District, the new Fishers Event Center, and the forthcoming Chicken N’ Pickle. The Miebach team now occupies 7,300 square feet on the 5th floor of the recently renovated Link at Fishers District– a project managed by JLL’s PDS team. The beautiful new office, designed by Schott Design, has a variety of creative workspaces and a magnificent break room with a view. Our team continues to make improvements to this HQ building, both for new tenants and also for the Landlord, M & J Wilkow!

SEVEN CORNERS- Carmel, IN- 20,400 Sq. Ft.

The need and desire for travel insurance has increased as the pandemic brought with it new uncertainties.  Seven Corners protects travelers taking any type of trip, and their company recently right sized their space in Carmel.  Schott Design helped their progressive team create a space that reflects their fun culture.

REGUS- Carmel, IN- 21,000 Sq. Ft.

Longtime client, Regus, added another flexible working space in Carmel that is already leasing up quickly! The 21,000 square foot space offers a variety of office spaces in a convenient location at 303 Congressional Blvd. Indy-based Schott Design worked with the local team to create an environment that meets the needs of the market. We’ve enjoyed working with Regus on more than ten projects over the years!
