| This month marks a very special milestone in the history of Capitol. Jon Robinson incorporated Capitol Construction in August of 1998, and we are now officially 25 years old! It feels like just yesterday that we were celebrating our 20th…time flies when you’re having fun. Our associates from all three offices were able to come together to celebrate anniversaries and successful projects, but most of all, each other in the vibrant venue BASH that we built a few years ago. Special clients and partners also joined us in celebrating, which included some fun outtakes shown below. We also incorporated tasty treats from many of our amazing restaurant clients around town. It will be a wonder to see what the next 25 years bring, but we are grateful for the growth we have had personally and professionally to this point. PIG PEN BBQ- Indianapolis, IN- 960 Sq. Ft.We have enjoyed working on several projects for Hendricks Commercial Properties Bottleworks Indy development in Downtown Indy over the last few years. The latest to wrap up is in The Garage Food Hall. Pig Pen BBQ will be bringing the best from the pit, along with all of the comfort sides you love with your meat. Wi-based EAU designed the vendor’s new space. BBQ will be a great addition to the other food and drink vendors offered at the Hall, open daily from 11-8.
MOCHINUT- Fishers, IN- 1,200 Sq. Ft.Mochinut opened this month at 116th and Olio in our hometown of Fishers, IN. Plan a visit to the 1,200 SF cafe offering the best in mochi donuts and boba drinks. This is our second project for the local franchisee, who also operates in Plainfield, IN. Indy-based Curran Architecture worked on this sweet treat’s design.
SAM’S JEWELERS- Indianapolis, IN- 1,650 Sq. Ft.A beautiful new gallery of jewelry and watches, Sam’s Jewelers, is now open in the Macy’s wing of Simon’s Castleton Square Mall on Indy’s northside! Mall construction has been a longtime portion of our work, and we’ve enjoyed bringin new retail concepts to life over the years. Designed by Indy-based Progress Studio, the 1,650 SF store is locally owned and is welcoming guests to find the special something.
CARTER’S- Murfreesboro, TN- 4,600 Sq. Ft.Teamwork makes the dream work, and our Indy/Nashville teams collaborated to build another beautiful new store for Carter’s in the growing City of Murfreesboro, just southeast of Nashville. It has been a treat to build stores for Carter’s over the years, and their 4,600 square foot site opened a few days ago to those looking for quality baby, toddler and kids’ clothes. TX-based Cortland Morgan Architect designed this store. COMING SOON: Kiddie Academy– Springhill, TN- 9,955 Sq. Ft. Dellen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram– Greenfield, IN- 27,100 Sq. Ft.
