April Showers & Showers & Showers

April, 2019

While we are loving the green grass and flowers sprouting, it seems when it starts raining here in the Midwest, it doesn’t want to stop! May is so close we can taste it, and we are hoping with May will bring some dry spells for our outdoor work to progress quicker.

Our team will be attending this year’s biggest retail convention in May- ReCon in Las Vegas with the International Council of Shopping Centers. We’re excited to meet with retailers, developers and brokers to provide construction services on a national level. If you’ll be there and would like to meet, please contact Lauren Kriner at lkriner@capitolconstruct.com or 317.574.5488.

Our Indy team was hired over a year ago to engage from pre-construction through delivery in converting the old hardware store and office at 1433 N. Meridian Street into the new Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana headquarters. Core Planning Strategies and Rowland Design were integral in this amazing transformation, as was the BBBSCI team and Board of Directors. The project involved opening up the second floor, adding interior stairs, all new finishes, and an extensive facade remodel. The 10,000 SF, two-story building, owned by BBBSCI, will allow the not-for-profit to accommodate their growing team and matching needs!
